Abstract:
Database Security is critical for any company to protect their data assets. DBAs are in a unique position of understanding the database needs and access controls in the database. Security professionals are in demand and being able to architect, communicate and implement security protection for data provides value to the enterprise. Discussed will be structure of database security and what skills are needed to make this transformation from DBA to Security DBA/Professional.
